Comcast Appoints Rodrigo Lopez as Senior Vice President of California Region  

Livermore, CA – January 26, 2026 – Comcast today announced the appointment of Rodrigo Lopez as Senior Vice President of the company’s California Region, serving Xfinity and Comcast Business customers across the state. Lopez will drive strategic initiatives to fuel growth and further elevate the customer experience – strengthening the company’s competitive advantage in a rapidly evolving market. 

In his new role, Lopez will be responsible for deepening customer relationships across the region, delivering residential customers more value from Xfinity’s full suite of products including the most reliable, fiber-powered WiFi, entertainment, mobile and home security, while bringing unmatched connectivity, communications, networking, cybersecurity, wireless and managed solutions to Comcast Business customers from small businesses to large enterprises. He will also lead efforts to expand Comcast’s smart and reliable network throughout the region.

With more than 30 years of experience at Comcast, Lopez brings a wealth of industry knowledge and a proven record of leadership and success. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Comcast’s Pacific Northwest Region. Prior to that, he held leadership roles in Seattle, Delaware and Utah where he helped drive operational excellence and customer-focused innovation.
